DC developer bets big on e-commerce logistics surge

Meridian has 29 place of work buildings in the D.C. space.

In Winchester, One Logistics Park, currently being designed with companion Wickshire Industrial, will be done in phases. Period 1 building will include almost 1.4 million sq. ft of industrial space throughout two facilities. Groundbreaking is established for the very first quarter of 2022, with shipping of Phase 1 in the 2nd 50 percent of 2023.

The speculative room is currently being marketed by Colliers.

Its locale will have access to the Baltimore-Washington area through Interstate-66 and Interstate-70, and is shut to the Virginia Inland Port.

“Companies and their shoppers want their products shipped a lot quicker and far more competently than ever before. This has designed unbelievable demand from customers for larger sized warehouses that maintain offer chains working as clean as achievable,” explained Kyle Maurer, vice president of acquisitions at The Meridian Group.
